For freshness sake only, the chicken meat balls have an additional minuscule amount of naturally occurring preservative.  These are also great dog treat ball fillers !

• Small size makes them ideal for Dog training (for medium to large dogs) – smaller dogs might take a little too long to chew and swallow
• Relatively hard texture. Very easy to chew, but the solid surface makes this ball less crumbly than other similar treats on the market.

Ingredients

CHICKEN Meat ONLY (treat is up to 40% meat), flour, salt, sugar, potassium sorbate (preservative);  colour (102).

Typical analysis: Protein 20%, fat 12%, salt 2.0%, fibre 0.3% 

NOTE the hardness of these balls is directly related to water content. Keep them fresh in pantry conditions. That is: in the bag, low light and low heat. If they dry out the preservative tends to keep them good, but they will become harder.
