Australian Crocodile Feet dog treats !

Extremely rare, extremely unique, a pure blissful dog treat.

These feet are from the croc hind  leg bones ..  Unlike the bones and crocodile sticks these treats also include the skin – which is a good thing as it means that they assist in keeping the Treat integrity.  And any dog treat skin provides collagen type 2, that assists in a dog’s joint support.

Typically a bag of 10 croc feet can weight between 200g and 300g (depending on the harvest), so with a 200 g bag, you will typically get at least 5 individual feet.

As most of the feet are from medium sized crocodiles, the skin is digestible and easily eaten.

The crocodile meat is also highly bio-available and hypo-allergenic.  Which is often the main reason many customers buy these treats.  The fact that they include the three forms of croc (skin, meat and bone) – means that they are a good FULL treat for a dog.

The bones are often slightly smaller than chicken necks but about the size of chicken feet, and are relatively soft and easy to crunch compared to many other bones.

Crocodiles are ancient animals and these are commercially farmed for human consumption – mainly at elite restaurants.  The feet are rare because there are only a small number of croc farms in Australia and crocs are mostly harvested as juveniles, meaning that the feet are often quite small and in fairly small amounts.

I wasn’t sure if my dog (Archie Spoodle) would like these, so I filmed him for this site chewing on one, he chose it over one of his main dog treat favourites (roo tendon). These feet are extremely easy for even my ten year old spoodle to eat – and with spoodles, having soft chewing (small retriever class) – that means that many dogs smaller than him can also enjoy these treats.

I imagine that most dogs will be ok with eating them. But of course always supervise your dogs eating treats in case they get over zealous and forget to chew.

The importance of 100% exotic dog treats

The Crocodile feet are WHOLE feet, meaning that they come with crocodile meat, skin, bones and often nails. The nails are usually relatively small meaning that being organic, but collagen based, they are likely just to pass through a dog’s digestive system like fibre.

While roo is considered hypo allergenic (and used in dog allergy diets), Crocodile meat is even more hypo allergenic and unlikely to cause an allergy reaction.
